Join Talbot County and communities across the nation in kicking off the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution with “Two Lights for Tomorrow” — a powerful and symbolic tribute to our nation’s founding and the enduring values of unity, service, and courage.
On the night of April 18, we invite all Talbot County residents, businesses, schools, and organizations to display two lights in their windows, porches, or public spaces to honor the famous lantern signal sent from the Old North Church in 1775:
“One if by land, and two if by sea.”
Let’s come together to light the way — just as our forebears did — and launch the countdown to America’s 250th birthday in 2026.
How to Participate
